A Review...

Well here is 2010 in review. A picture for every month.

This is January back in Provo after my stint in Jerusalem. This is what we did for fun one Saturday afternoon. It turned eternal for those 2 on my left. We started sledding on plastic plates and then somehow you can see that that turned bad for me. :) I ended up buried in snow.

This was my birthday dinner in February with Lanie and Papa and Micah. P.F. changs baby. Yes I love that place!
Snowboarding with my 2 buds Matt and Nathan. These are some of the Provo kids that I miss most. Love them.

Hiking bridal veil falls. It was beautiful and one of my first times out for the summer. This is my friend Jeremy, for all those of you who'd like to know that.

I am a big graduated girl! Oh wait... not yet. I LOVE school. Maybe I will go back for 3 more years. Anywho... here is all the Claremont crowd gathered at graduation.

This was my graduation trip to Hawaii. It was an absolute blast. I am so grateful for wonderful grandparents who invited me to join them. :)

You see that little tiney dot out there on the wave? Thats me.

This was at dinner one night in Hawaii. Some of the best fish I've tasted, maybe cuz it's some of the only fish I've dared to taste but it was yummy. Or should I say yummy yummy because it was Mahi Mahi.
Then in June/July/August it was off to be an EFY councilor. This was week 3 and these girls were my favorites. Well, I cant have favorites because I loved them all but if I could, it'd be these ones. I loved how unified they were. They loved each other and had a great week.

This was at stadium of fire when we went to watch Carrie Underwood. It was also one of the most beautiful sunsets of the summer. Maybe thats because it was one of the only ones I paid attention to. Life is like that sometimes, if we will just stop to pay attention and be still, we will see and experience some amazing things.

My co-councilor and I stole some cowboy hats from the "Texas Boys." That explains it all.

This was one of my favorite girls. Aubri. She's a gem!

Moab in August = best idea I ever had. We went the 5 of us and had such a fun weekend. Camping and hiking and hiding from thunder storms and rattlesnakes. Arches was incredible, and mostly friends are awesome!
Shayla and Lane got hitched on August 20th.

And then it was off to Pocatello to start PT school. This was our float in the homecoming parade. Honestly, we all did this mostly for the extra credit but it turned out to be pretty fun.

Then there was a bit of a mishap here. Well I blame this on on the spider that came and sat down beside me. Honestly, I wasn't scared of it, I was showing it off to my friends in the car instead of driving. Somehow, this is where my car ended up. Weird, right since I don't typically go off-roading in my Elantra?

One of the BYU football games I attended this Fall. I love Steph and miss her a ton! She is one of my best friends cuz I can be crazy with her. She is all fun all the time. Love her.

And then there is this gem of a moment. When I was home for the break I was asked to participate in a game for the youth of our ward called "Where's Waldo?" This is when people from the ward go to the mall and try to hide from the youth. So this is how I dressed up. Pretty ballin'. I wish you could see my whole outfit though. I looked dang good, if I do say so myself. Obviously low self-esteem is not my problem. :)

Anyway, thank you friends and family for an incredible 2010. I look forward to more memories during a happy 2011 with you all!

Things that are annoying before 8am

So my house is nice. I really do like it. And I like my roomies too. But there are just somethings that would be annoying whoever you are... well I take that back because some people have no limits but I defintly have mine.
1. Chatty roomates. I can be chatty and fun and talk about whatever you want but not before 8am so please don't try. I just don't want to talk to you. Its not personal, its not meant to make you mad, its me not you. :)
2. Trash trucks. I know that kids love them but I DO NOT. It just so happens that we live right on the street where they all drive by every morning to get to the rest of the city so there is no shortage of them.
3. Alarm clocks. Now having 8:00 class puts a damper on this fact that I hate alarm clocks. I guess there are somethings you just have to get used to but I still don't have to like it.
4. Make-up. Why men insist that women wear make-up is beyond me. Granted I think it is fun to wear and it is nice to look nice. I am not advocating that all women go without it either, for that could be scarey, all I am saying is why is it that the guys in my classes notice when I don't wear any. Besdies all the guys in my classes are married. Or the few guys who aren't are.. lets just say not my type.
5. Occupied bathroom. So sad when you finally muster the courage to get out of bed and you run upstairs(I live in the dungeon of a basement) and the bathroom is being used. Not only is it being used but its being USED if you know what I mean and then I get the leftovers of smells and such. Now that is just the wrong way to start the day.
Ok. Done ranting. Back to studying.

Special Ops 2010!!!

So I got this email today from BYU Magazine that they are going to publish this picture. The best part about it is that my eyes are closed. :) But this was this summer at the Special Olympics. I do love the athletes. I hope to be able to get involved in Special Olympics in Idaho too.

Goodbye glial cells!

I am so excited to play volleyball tonight that I thought I would blog about all the great reasons to play volleyball.
1. Sometimes when you stuff a guy it is like sticking your tongue out at them without the actual insult. Its a great feeling. Kinda just strut your stuff a little bit after that.
2. You get to make great friends while playing.
3. Volleyball is a great place to flirt because you can say when you dig someone, come on, actually bring the heat next time.
No but it really should be fun tonight. I need some time to not think about physiology and why glial cells can only replicate slowly. I love volleyball and it seems like we have a good group put together who can really play. That's all. Just wanted to tell you how excited I am since I have been told on numerous occasions recently that I need to blog more. The nice thing about blogging I guess is that is it about nothing. :) But this is a pretty awesome nothing.
