Used car salesman

So for those of you who don't know, my car was totaled in November. I am fine. So after my accident I was optimistic. I was like ok, I have some money, now I can get something a little more sporty than my Elantra. My Elantra was a GREAT first car, don't get me wrong, but I was trying to be optimistic about my "opportunity" thanks to some girl who was not paying attention.
So I began casually browsing. Which is a mistake. The first car I test drove was out of the price range of Donald Trump. Dumb move. Check. Then I feel in love with The Nissian Altima. White. With a spoiler if that's not asking too much. Not V6 just 4-cylinder but souped up a little. And tinted windows if that won't be a burden. Oh man. I felt like I a twiterpatted teenage girl, over a car. I almost fell for it. But luckily being my practical self, I ran from the scary used car salesman.
Which is actually the purpose for this post. When I say used car salesman, what do you think of? Pause. Think. Ok. I have been there and done that in the past 2 days. I have been to back allies, literally, I have been to HUGE car lots with bajillions of smiling used car salesman. I have been all over the state of Utah and then some. I took a car to the mechanic only to find the engine was about to fall out, seriously, of the car. I have had the I-want-to-be-your-friend chat with about 12 thousand salesman. And yet I am STILL carless. Why? Am I too picky? Am I asking to much for a reliable car for a decent price? Do I have unrealistic expectations? Is the fact that I am a single white female who salesman think they are going to work over part of the problem? If you can answer yes to all of the above you may need psychological help. Oh wait yup. Thats me. Also, can I rant about one other minor little detail? STILL. DO. NOT. HAVE. A. CAR. Lame!
