Festival of the Colors

So we went to the Hare Krishna Temple this weekend for some good old fashioned chalk throwing and witch burning. Yep that is what I said. It was lots of fun and very cultural at the same time. The only problem was the chalk down my throat making it almost impossible to breathe but that's to be expected I guess.

This is the temple. It is very pretty and set in the middle of nowhere (aka Spanish Fork) so there is lots of pretty farm land around.

The burning of the witch.

These are my girls Emma, Katelyn, Whittney and Genevie. Love them!

Notice how in the above pisture I have no green on my face and below I do. Well Shayla was kind enough to throw some chalked green grass at my face so as to get the desired effect. It was great.

One more thing...

So I have been obsessed, literally, with family history lately and so I am going to start a family history blog. Let me know if you want to help. I want to put up like fun census records that I find and post a family tree and stuff. If anyone want to help me out let me know, I'd love the help. I got as far back as the early 1700's in one branch of grandma Wolfes family so it has been really fun. Here is a fun preview... The last line of the first page is our great grandpa Wolfe and then it shows his family. We are descendants of Claude Wolfe who was 6 when the census was taken. FUN, FUN, FUN!! Also take special note of his occupation... It looks like it says "Groceries etc." to me.

We are the champions!!!

Finally, I can graduate and leave BYU. That's why I had to come back after my mission because I still had no shirt in my pocket. But Racquetball was my lucky sport. The championship was actually pretty close but there was no way I was letting this one slip away. So here are some pictures to prove it. I got the shirt. I love the shirt! Maybe I scared them away with the knarly stitches in my forehead... that'd scare me too.

So here is an update on my forehead. It actually looks pretty good, all things considered. I did lose some feeling in my forehead directly above the wound which makes for an interesting experience when I wash my face but hopefully most of it will come back with time.
