Forever Families
So I found out this morning about the loss of a dear friend. In my favorite ward on my mission in Paraguay for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints we had a young couple, both RM's, who helped us out a lot. He was a taxi driver and last Wednesday night, September 17, 2008 he stopped to help out at the scene of an accident. Another driver ran into him and his taxi killing him instantly. Now his young wife is a widow and it just makes me so thankful for life itself. I mourn for them but I am also so grateful for the gospel and the ordinances of the Holy Temples that make family bonds last beyond the grave. I know that families can be together forever. I know that they can be together again after this life because they were married for time and all eternity by the proper authority. God is so merciful and loving in providing this option for us. He knows how much family means to us. There is life after death. I know it! And we can be together and happy forever. Please pray for Carolyn Enriquez in her moment of tragedy.

Is she really playing... RUGBY?
Well... once again school has started and things are finally starting to settle down. Work is going well.. I love it actually because I get to do homework almost the whole time and I get paid for it. But the most exciting part of this school year is RUGBY! No it is not touch and yes I am a little worried about keeping all of my appendages intact but I love it. It is so much fun to learn a new sport and to get back in shape. I haven't been in this good of shape since high school. I will be playing a position called lock... I bet no one knows what that means. :) In the scrums(big packs pushing against each other) I play on the 2nd row, and they also lift me up to catch the ball on "throw-ins" (they're not really called that but for comprehension we will call it that). I am also learning how to ruck and tackle correctly and pass and formations and lots of other fun things. Our first game is this weekend(September 20) at UVU. I get butterflies just thinking about it but I am way stoked. They all say that the first game you just have to get out of the way and then things get less confussing and more fun from there. Dad wants a video of the game but I might have to screen it first...
I am also playing 2 intramurals, soccer, flag football, and basketball(even though the Ingalls family is basketball challenged). I just cannot say no to sports.

What the TWILIGHT!
Well... I am at work again. Surprise, surprise right. This week I got the lucky end of the stick when I get to work the hardest and busiest building of the week. Now this isn't that except that they can't leave me in peace for more than 3.5 minutes to read TWILIGHT. I am so obsessed with these dumb vampire books that it is driving me crazy. That is all I want to do in my free time is read, which gets really annoying when you are tired but you would rather read than sleep.... which doesn't usually happen to me. Anyway... I am in the middle of the second book and disappointed at the storyline but hopefully it gets better... but what does it matter, I can't put it down anyway!

Blog, blog, blog of the jungle.... watch out for that tree!
Well... I know that this is kind of a married person thing to do but I don't really care. :) So begins the life of a blogger... nonchalantly blogging in the beginning... then its an occasional life update and then it becomes a full fledged war between the mind and the blog. The blog starts speaking to the soul like... "Have you had your blog today?" or "You have to remember to blog about when you saw that stray dog getting into the trash."
The real reason for my blog: 1. So that I can have links to all your blogs. 2. To start blogging about church things and to link my testimony to the church website.
There is so much trash out there about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and WE need to do something about it. I challenge each of you to blog your testimony and then link it to the churches website so that we can start getting the correct information out about the church. This is in your hands!
